How much is shipping?
Back to Shopping!
Shipping is now calculated on checkout based on dollar amount of total order, and country of destination (shipping is now open to the UK, most of Europe, Australia, Japan, New Zealand, and a bunch of other places). Sales tax will be calculated for residents of California.
When can I expect my order to arrive?
(01/31/13) In general, please allow 7-14 days for your order to arrive. But, I am making a special effort to get orders for Valentines cards in the mail ASAP so they arrive in time. Most items are sent either Priority (2-3 business days average transit time) or First Class mail (1-5 business days average transit time); orders outside the US may take extra transit time due to Customs. Canadian orders in particular are subject to excessive Customs delays. Items ordered together may ship separately. Shipping times are only estimates and cannot be guaranteed. If you have any questions or special delivery requests, just e-mail me, email@example.com If you do not receive an immediate response, go ahead and e-mail me again--I'm not ignoring you or your order, I just sometimes get busy.
NOTE: Cell phone cases are sent direct from the manufacturer, so they will ship separately from any other items ordered.
If you have any questions or issues, or your items are missing, mishandled, etc., contact me as soon as possible.
Do I have to sign up with PayPal to place an order?
Nope! When you proceed to Checkout, click the "I do not have a PayPal account" and you will be able to enter your credit card information as you would any other purchase.
Can I ship to an address other than my billing address?
Yes. During checkout there will be a box for "other info." Write the new address and any instructions for me in there. Also, be sure to double-check your address when placing your order!
Will you send an e-mail confirmation when my order has been sent?
When your order goes through, you will receive a receipt e-mail from Paypal. This is proof that I have received your money (I get one of these too). I generally do not send any follow-up e-mails unless there is a problem or delay of some kind, but if at any point you want an update on your order, do not hesitate to e-mail me, firstname.lastname@example.org.
Oops, I put the wrong address in my order!
Please double-check your e-mail confirmation from Paypal when you receive it. If you need to change the address (such as, your default Paypal address is outdated), or add any additional information, contact me ASAP, email@example.com. Usually it's no problem, but if an order has to be re-sent due to an incorrect address, you will be billed again for shipping costs (unless, of course, it's due to a mistake on my part). This also applies to any orders sent back to me marked, 'unclaimed.'
How are prints packaged?
Mini-prints are sent flat in reinforced mailers, while larger prints are usually rolled in sturdy tubes.
What if something happens to my order in transit or I am unsatisfied in some way?
E-mail me and we'll work it out. Here's what Brian W. of Normal, IL had to say: "Thank you so much for sending me the new print of "Brave Cone Dog"!
It's awesome and I've framed it and hung it up in my room in my apartment. All of my friends love it. Thank you so much for being so accomidating. I will definitely
recommend you to my friends."
Is there a way I can get prints even larger than the Jumbo size?
There is now! TopatoCo.com now offers a number of prints as long as 44". If there's an image you'd like to see in a particular size/format, please e-mail me, firstname.lastname@example.org. I'm always open to product suggestions.
What's the difference between the prints on this site and the prints being sold on TopatoCo.com?
TopatoCo prints are neither signed nor limited and use a photo-like, semi-gloss default paper stock (with the option of upgrading to textured fine art paper or ultra-premium coated canvas on their larger prints for an additional charge). Quality-wise, they use the same high-resolution image sources and are printed with the same archival inks, and are made with just as much (perhaps a smoosh more) TLC.
There's something I want on TopatoCo.com and something I want on Brandonbird.com. Can I combine them and save on shipping?
No. TopatoCo products are made and sent from their headquarters in Massachusetts, while I'm based in California (tip: order from a place you don't live and you won't pay sales tax).
What should I do with my prints?
You should have them professionally framed under real, UV-resistant glass. Protecting the print from sunlight and extremes of temperature and humidity will help make it last as long as possible.
